Bashikpur Central Shaheed Minar is situated in the premises of the Bashikpur Union Parishad at Bashkirpur Union. The Shaheed Minar was established at the initiative of Abul Kashem, the popular chairman of the union. It was mentioned that the foundation stone of Shahidaminar was established by Abul Kashem Chairman and inaugurated by Laxmipur Sadar, Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Upazila Executive Officer.
